With the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics approaching, the East London landscape in 2010 was being reshaped. This Olympic waterscape encompasses the Lea Valley, a system of braided waterways that define the area. Through film and photographs, six Ph.D. students in Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London set out to learn how the Olympics and Paralympics were transforming the use of these waterways. The film questions what this waterscape meant and would mean to the people who cared for and lived with this changing landscape.
